Student Loan Cancellation

I am so tired of people who argue that student loans shouldn’t be cancelled. One of their main arguments is about the fairness of it to those who have paid their loans in full. My rebuttal is that all student loan debt should be cancelled & any payments made should be refunded. Some people are so concerned about a few people having their student loans cancelled who can afford them that they’d rather the rest of us drown in debt until we die. Where were those people who don’t want anyone who has money getting something from the federal government when the wealthy got tax breaks from Trump & republicans?
