I HAVE HAD IT WITH THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

Promises were made during the 2020 presidential election. Other than Covid-19 relief and making Juneteenth a federal holiday, it has failed to deliver. Let’s start with an obvious truth that is often either overlooked or unstated. Speaker Pelosi manages to get meaningful legislation passed in the House, but Schumer is clearly unqualified to be the majority leader in the Senate. He can’t even get Manchin and Sinema to fall in line, Speaker Pelosi manages to do her job, so why can’t Schumer do his? To be unable to get rid of the filibuster because of 1 or 2 votes is absolutely ridiculous. At the same time, I must admit that having Speaker Pelosi pass bills that go nowhere because the Senate won’t pass anything, seems like political theatre. Why bother putting anything up for a vote in the House, knowing it has 0% chance of passing the Senate? We did not elect them to pass bills in the House that never go any further. Democrats can’t even get election reform passed. It seems they have given up on canceling student loan debt, a $15 minimum wage and healthcare. Finally, last, but not least, their continued use of title 42, is unacceptable. There are a number of reasons for this, one is that it is inhumane & unethical. Two, it is a violation of international law. Three, many if not most of the reasons asylum seekers leave their home countries are either directly or indirectly caused by our own government. Four, there are numerous articles claiming there aren’t enough people to replace aging and dying workers in the U.S., increased immigration could solve that problem.
